How much does a quartz countertop cost in Pattaya?

A quartz countertop in Pattaya typically costs ฿6,000–15,000 per metre, with cutting, sink and hob cut-outs and fitting included. Granite runs ฿4,000–8,000 per metre and marble ฿12,000–30,000 per metre. A 2.5 metre straight quartz top in a Jomtien condo therefore sits around ฿15,000–37,500.

These are guide prices; the final price follows templating on site.

02

Which countertop suits a Pattaya condo kitchen?

For a Pattaya condo kitchen, quartz is usually the best fit: it is non-porous, stain-resistant and needs no sealing, which suits owners who are away for months or let the unit to tenants. A 20 mm slab keeps weight manageable for lifts. Light quartz also reflects sea light and makes compact kitchens feel bigger.

Granite is a lower-cost alternative if you prefer natural stone.

03

What countertop works for an outdoor kitchen in East Pattaya?

For an outdoor kitchen at an East Pattaya pool villa, granite is the most reliable countertop because it withstands strong sun, heavy rain and hot grill plates without fading. Many quartz types discolour in direct UV, so we keep quartz under a full roof. A honed or flamed granite finish is less slippery by the pool.

We fall the top slightly so rainwater drains towards the sink.

04

How do you get a stone countertop into a Pattaya high-rise?

In Pattaya high-rises we measure the service lift and corridors at the site visit, then cut the countertop into sections that fit, with neat joints placed away from the sink. Stone is templated after the cabinets are fixed, cut in about 5–10 working days and fitted in one day within the juristic office's permitted hours.

Lift walls and floors are protected during delivery.

05

Can you replace only the countertop in my Pattaya condo?

Yes, as long as the cabinets underneath are level and dry. Swapping a tired laminate or tiled top for quartz is a popular upgrade in older Pattaya and Jomtien condos. We remove the old top, check carcasses for swelling, template the new stone and refit the sink and hob, usually with one visit to template and one to fit.

If the cabinets are damaged, we will say so before you order stone.

Countertop questions

Kitchen countertops in Pattaya: common questions

Does quartz need sealing in Pattaya?

No. Quartz countertops in Pattaya need no sealing because the resin-bound surface is non-porous, so humidity, coffee and fish sauce cannot soak in. Daily cleaning with mild soap is enough. Granite and marble, by contrast, benefit from sealing about once a year, or more often for marble in a busy kitchen.

How thick should a countertop be in a Pattaya condo?

In a Pattaya condo, a 20 mm stone countertop is usually right: it is strong enough for daily use, lighter to carry through lifts and corridors, and suits slim modern cabinets. For an island or breakfast bar we can add a mitred front edge that looks 40 mm thick without the weight of a solid slab.

Can I put a hot wok on a quartz countertop in Pattaya?

It is better not to. Quartz in Pattaya kitchens handles warm dishes, but a wok straight off a strong gas burner can mark or crack the resin. Use a trivet, or ask for a granite or stainless strip beside the hob if you cook Thai food often. Granite tolerates hot pans much better.

Where can I see countertop samples in Pattaya?

We do not have a showroom in Pattaya. We bring quartz, granite and marble samples to your condo or house at the site visit and share the catalogue and photos of fitted countertops. Seeing stone in your own light, next to your cabinet colour and floor, shows how it will really look.

Is the sink cut-out included in Pattaya countertop prices?

Yes. Pattaya countertop prices of ฿4,000–30,000 per metre, depending on the stone, include standard sink and hob cut-outs, polished edges, joints and installation. Extras such as an undermount sink finish, drainer grooves, extra tap holes or a waterfall side on an island are listed separately in the quote.

How long does a new countertop take in Pattaya?

A new countertop in Pattaya usually takes about 2 weeks: templating on site, about 5–10 working days to cut and polish, then a day to fit. In a condo, the fitting date also depends on lift booking with the juristic office, so we reserve it as soon as the template is done.

Do you fit countertops in East Pattaya houses?

Yes. We fit countertops in houses and pool villas across East Pattaya, including Huay Yai, Mabprachan, Nong Prue and the Siam Country Club area. Houses often allow larger single slabs and thicker islands than condos, and outdoor kitchens there usually get granite tops for sun and rain resistance.

Is marble a good countertop for a Pratumnak sea-view condo?

Marble looks striking in a Pratumnak or Jomtien sea-view condo, but it is softer and more porous than quartz, so lime, vinegar and wine leave dull marks and it needs regular sealing. It costs ฿12,000–30,000 per metre. If you love the look, a marble-pattern quartz gives a similar effect with far less care.
