In Pattaya we plan a straight kitchen for high-rise condos near the beach roads, pool villas in East Pattaya and weekend homes for Bangkok families. In homes around East Pattaya and Huay Yai the kitchen is often part of an open living space, so we check walkways, door swings and the dining area before fixing sizes.
A straight kitchen gathers cabinetry, appliances and worktop along one main run. Also called a one-wall kitchen, it can suit a compact room or an open living area where the kitchen occupies a single wall. Every function shares that wall length, so the sequence of tasks deserves careful planning.
How much does a single-wall (straight) kitchen cost in Pattaya?
A single-wall (straight) kitchen in Pattaya typically costs ฿90,000–300,000, depending on size and finish. That covers one run of 2.4–4 metres.
• Modular cabinets with laminate fronts: ฿90,000–170,000
• Custom cabinets in PU paint or matte lacquer with a quartz worktop: ฿150,000–240,000
• Teak, natural stone and brass details: ฿220,000–300,000
Prices include cabinets, worktop and installation. Appliances, sink and tap are extra, and the exact price is confirmed after we measure the room.
Protect useful preparation space
Position the sink, cooking area and refrigerator together with the surfaces between them. A long row of appliances is not necessarily useful if little preparation space remains. Include the kettle, coffee machine and other items you expect to keep on the worktop. Check access to sockets without allowing cables or open doors to interfere with the working surface.
Make vertical storage work
Compare drawers, upper cabinets and tall units according to what they will hold. Frequently used items should stay within comfortable reach; a taller cabinet does not automatically make storage easier. Grouping tall units at one end creates a different visual balance from continuous upper cabinetry. Review ventilation requirements and maintenance access for each appliance before cabinet openings are finalised.
Connect the kitchen with the rest of the room
In an open-plan Pattaya home, think about how the kitchen sits with the dining table, sofa and nearby doors. Make sure appliance doors and drawers can open without blocking the main walkway. Send Pattaya Kitchens your wall length, a few photos and the appliances you cannot do without. Our cabinet planning and compact kitchen ideas will help you take the next step.
